This eye-opening, compelling, and sometimes heartbreaking book offers unique insights into the diverse challenges the current generation of youths are facing in the ever faster paced, and ironically disconnected, world of smart phones and social media.

Born between 1995 and the mid 2010s, "iGen" has never known a world without the internet. Using scientific studies, interviews, and a-picture-is-worth-a-thousand-words graphs, Twenge illustrates how todays kids are growing up with very different foundational experiences than previous generations, experiences that are causing rapid and drastic changes in their attitudes and perceived ability to handle life's basic challenges.  I highly recommend this book to parents and educators to help understand this very different point-of-view, and so that we can better help them prepare for adulthood.
